A Bit About Me
I grew up surrounded by dysfunction and toxicity: a broken family, abandonment, violence, the effects of mental health and addiction issues in my family, and a troubled relationship with my mother.
Throughout my teens and early adult years, I struggled with dyslexic and OCD tendencies, social anxiety, a stammer, lack of self-esteem, a pattern of unsuccessful relationships, bad life choices and the inability to trust others.
Despite the deep and wide effects of trauma, I persevered and stayed focused on the only truth I was certain of, “there had to be a better way”.
I believe that true healing comes from our ability to acknowledge the effects of past wounds, and then be willing to do the work to overcome them.
